How Does a Vertical Form Fill Seal Machine Work?

The Vertical Form Fill Seal Machine places the product into a molded bag and seal it. During the operation, the product is fed into the VFFS system from the forming tube. The low friction roller delivers the film to the forming area, while the forming ring moulds the flat film into a circular film tube. The vertical sealing strip seals the edge of the film tube. The film conveyor belt then pulls the film through the forming area. Vertical sealing is carried out when the film is moving and horizontal sealing is carried out when the film is stopped. The working principle of continuous motion machine is that both vertical and horizontal sealing bags are carried out when the film moves. This type of machine is capable of running at maximum speed and requires sealing clamp reciprocating motion.
